A busy day for a tourist in Paris! First, we visited Musee d'Orsay, where we were not allowed to take pictures inside, but saw plenty of Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, Cezanne...wish I could show you some of it, it was fantastic. Next we walked to Musee Rodin, intending just to see the gardens, but another storm came up, so we spent an hour or so inside the museum waiting for the rain to stop. It was a great way to spend a rainy hour! Finally it did stop and we were able to enjoy all of the sculptures in the garden. Then we took the Metro to Tuileries Gardens, but the skies were clouding up again, so we didn't stay long. We walked up to the Louvre to see the pyramid, but didn't go in. Enough museums for one day! We spent some time in the souvenir shops, dodging the off and on rain, found a place to eat, then got a taxi to take us to Bateaux Mouche for a cruise on the Seine. Whew, we are tired!
