Day 12---Paris........Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower

We left Antwerp at 9:30 on the train for Paris...and that is the only way I want to travel from now on.  We walked to the station, didn't have to park the car at an overpriced lot.  We got there just 30 minutes before our train, and that was really too early.  No one frisked us, x-rayed us, or pawed thru our luggage.  The train pulled in, people got off, people got on, and we left.  Just over two hours later we were in Paris.

We checked into our hotel and jumped right into tourist mode.  Straight to Notre Dame where we got some beautiful pics of the stained glass and the amazing architecture.  Just a beautiful building.  We walked around the outside, too, in the gardens and by the Seine.  We stopped in a few of the tourist shops to look for souvenirs.  And just in time, a big storm came blowing in---luckily it passed pretty quickly and we walked a little further before catching a taxi to get over to the Eiffel Tower.
