Spring Break Cruise...Key West, Grand Cayman, Jamaica...March 31-April6, 2013

Getting off the boat in Key West, one of the first things I saw was a T shirt with a rooster on it.  I have no idea what this means, it doesn't say anything else.  Then I start seeing the roosters and chickens and little baby chicks everywhere I look....ok, I get it.  Cool.
We rented bikes for the day and rode over the Hemingway Home to see the famous six toed cats.  The original cat was a gift to Hemingway, cats are good luck for fishermen, and the current 40-50 six toed cats (and all the five toed cats as well) are descendants of that cat, Snowball. And the Six Toed Cat restaurant down the street has excellent Key Lime Pie.
We rode down to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park for a bit, the girls got their feet (and shorts) wet at the beach and we took the bike path down by the old Fort.  We can see our ship from here! Then Alex wiped out, scraped up her arm and leg pretty good, and we headed back to return our bikes.  It was nearly time to head back to the ship anyway and we still gotta get some T shirts.  Not the rooster one, just the regular one.
