We have a garden designed to attract butterflies, and this year we have finally managed to capture the whole parade! Just a couple of weeks ago we found caterpillar eggs on the fennel. We guessed that they would be swallowtails, as that's what eats fennell, and in just a few days we had the caterpillars to prove it. Now we are keeping a careful watch over a chrysalis, hoping to see the butterfly!

Zoe week! Zoe came up to stay with us and we had so much fun! We played at the pool and kept watch over the watermelons and went to brunch with dad.
