In the first inning Alex get a hit and makes it to first base.
Then she stole 2nd base...SAFE!

Off she goes to cover first base.
She makes a great catch---OUT!
Casey watches some of the game.
Mostly she finds other things to do.
For her next at bat, Alex take a pitch to the head. No problem, off to first base she goes. Again, steals 2nd and 3rd (everybody steals 2nd and 3rd, they're still learning the game) BUT...this time she makes it home...GO ALEX!
The game ends with a tie, but everyone is happy with it.

We didn't get lunch until 2:30, but no matter, we have a Saturday night date. We meet up with my friends Beth and Trudi for girls night out, and my girls and Beth's girls are out with us tonight....
