The pack of sunflower seeds we bought back in March and started in a tray in the living room were hit or miss we knew. We transplanted 57 out to the garden when we thought it was safe. Of course we were wrong, and another frost came, followed by more chilly mornings. But a few have made it and now tower over Casey's head.

Ma and Pa Goose brought by their little one to show off. We oohed and ahhed over him and wondered if more would be coming along in the next few weeks. There were more than a dozen adult geese earlier in the Spring.

And the Pergola Project is ready for a test run.
