Friday...the last day of school, and the last day of elementary school for Alex. The fifth grade class at Ford always marks this milestone with a Walk of Honor. All of the fifth grade classes walk down the halls one last time, handing out flowers to their old teachers, listening to the lower grades cheering them on to Middle School. Alex had a ball! And then onto the bus for one last ride home. Back at home on the front steps, the same picture I took on the first day of school, back in August...
But our summer vacation awaits! First off, down to Albany to spend the weekend at mom's and collect Zoe. She's coming to spend the week with us! The girls all had fun, riding the golf cart with Papa, and playing with all the dogs. Alex has a new haircut for summer, so much cooler!
Now we have to get back home.
